The latter is a great advantage because you no longer need to worry about whether the user’s browser is Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc. Due to the library itself will be responsible for doing the “dirty” work for us and will execute the code that is compatible with the software of the client that is accessing the web in particular.
In this manual I intend to approach all, or most of, the features that are present in the jQuery core. So you’ll be able to do things as varied as manipulating HTML DOM elements, modifying page styles, adding nice effects and transitions, and using AJAX to load content asynchronously.
I have decided to divide the contents of the guide into the following sections:
- Introduction to jQuery
- Installing jQuery
- jQuery Syntax
- jQuery Selectors
- jQuery Methods
- jQuery Functions
- Handling events and HTML attributes with jQuery
- jQuery Traversing
- jQuery AJAX
- Other features of jQuery
